Bethlehem Gets Federal Grant to Implement Eastern Gateway Plans
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the City of Bethlehem a $450,000 grant to begin implementation of the Eastern Gateway plan prepared by Phillips Preiss Grygiel LLC and Project for Public Spaces. The funding will be used for targeted streetscape improvements, public art, the creation of a public plaza adjacent to the skate park and further feasibility analysis on the commercial and residential redevelopment potential of the area.
